The newly appointed Ambassador of China to Cyprus, Yang Yundong, met on Wednesday with Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) President Stavros Stavrou and Secretary General Philokypros Roussounides at the organisation’s offices, where discussions centred on enhancing bilateral business relations.
During the meeting, CCCI officials extended their congratulations to Ambassador Yang on his recent appointment. Talks focused on strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between Cyprus and China, with particular emphasis on creating new opportunities for both business communities.
The sides also explored plans for a Chinese business delegation to visit Cyprus later this year, a move expected to facilitate business-to-business networking and boost trade and investment prospects between the two countries.
