GDEV donates €100,000 to support Cyprus wildfire recovery

As wildfires continue to affect communities across Cyprus — including areas where many of the company's team members live — GDEV is stepping in to support both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts.

As noted in an announcement from the Limassol-based gaming and entertainment company, "We’ve launched an internal response hub to coordinate verified updates, local volunteer opportunities, and animal rescue initiatives. More importantly, we’ve partnered with TechIsland to align our efforts with the broader tech community and local NGOs."

"Today, we’re committing €100,000 to TechIsland’s wildfire response fund to help those affected across the Limassol mountain region," the announcement continued, "As a company proudly headquartered in Cyprus, we believe tech companies have a responsibility to act when crises strike close to home. We encourage everyone to follow TechIsland’s social channels to see how these funds are being used on the ground."
