Renovated Pendeli Hotel in Platres is back open for business
07:00 - 12 July 2025

The historic Pendeli Hotel in Platres is entering a new era, reopening its doors after a complete transformation.
Property Gallery presents the hotel’s full renovation, which reopens as the modern and elegant Pendeli Resort.
The new four-star hotel, located in the heart of the village of Platres, will welcome its guests from July 16, 2025.
In this context, the hotel is now accepting bookings for stays in a space that radiates historic charm, modern elegance, and uncompromising design.

Traditional character with modern comforts
The renovation project preserves the traditional character of the hotel while adding all modern amenities.
Pendeli Resort features 85 rooms, including 11 suites—all with balconies and beautiful views of the natural surroundings—two Premier Suites, and the unique Presidential Suite.

Guests are welcomed by a spacious, bright lobby leading to the refined Pines & Piano bar. They can then enjoy moments of relaxation at the piano bar and sample exquisite flavours at one of three distinctive dining venues: the Ilios Restaurant, the Forest Café, and the Grill Bar.
The relaxation area, a modern events hall, and a wellness floor with sauna, ice room, and a fully equipped 200 sq.m. gym, offer exceptional experiences for both leisure and business travellers.

The outdoor areas—including a 20-meter pool, a separate children’s pool, and tranquil gardens—elevate the mountain escape experience. The resort also caters to families with two fully equipped playrooms for younger children and teenagers.

The hotel’s interior design features natural materials such as stone, wood, and marble. Interior spaces are furnished with unique pieces by Ralph Lauren, Gianfranco Frattini, Casa Milano, Tacchini Italia, and Linteloo.
The Presidential Suite stands out for its luxury, with custom-designed furniture, marble, and Roberto Cavalli wallpapers. All bathrooms are fitted with high-quality Dornbracht fixtures.

The hotel is powered by photovoltaic panels, enhancing its energy efficiency and making its operation environmentally friendly.
The revival of a resort with a longstanding history
Pendeli Resort continues the historic tradition of Platres, a village beloved by kings, diplomats, and renowned artists, offering a new hospitality experience where history and modern comfort coexist in harmony.

It is noted that the pine trees shading the exterior have stood since the 1930s, bearing witness to the revival of the resort—now a gem of the Troodos Mountains: Pendeli Resort, where rich history and refined hospitality meet in timeless harmony.
The George Tsanos Group has taken over management of the hotel.
The inauguration of Pendeli Resort took place on Monday, July 7, by Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis, in the presence of state officials and the Mayor of Limassol, Yiannis Armeftis.
