Evangelia Eliadou: The Minthis Music Festival is a celebration of a new era at Minthis Resort
05:01 - 28 June 2025

"Now that the resort is complete, we’ve entered a new era," Evangelia Eliadou, Executive Director of Pafilia noted, commenting on the inspiration behind the upcoming Minthis Music Festival.
Speaking to CBN, Eliadou continued, “What we would like is to establish is an entire month of high-standard music," explaining that last year’s musical event, Exclusive Nights at Minthis, consisted of just two nights, while this year’s Minthis Music Festival has expanded the quality entertainment to five.
"The excellent response we had last year—with a large audience, including many people from abroad—motivated us to dedicate five days to the Festival this year, with the hope that it will eventually grow into a full month of music," she underlined.
With outstanding musicians from all over the world, the event is held at the open-air amphitheatre at Minthis, which means that beyond being just a Festival, it "becomes a complete experience, close to nature and under the stars," Eliadou emphasised.
"There’s been a great response from the public over the past two months since tickets became available, and many have secured tickets for all five nights," she added.
"The Festival is a high-aesthetic event in a harmonious destination," Eliadou pointed out, concluding, "I see it as a very beautiful initiative by Pafilia, in collaboration with LaimTee Art, that will expand in the future into an entire month of music."
From 9 to 13 July, the Minthis Music Festival will bring together some of the most celebrated musicians of our time.
This year’s festival promises an exclusive and unforgettable highlight—the Cyprus debut of the prestigious String Quartet from La Scala.
Other performances will feature globally renowned virtuosos, including Italian tenor Massimo Giordano, Spanish guitar master Pablo Sainz-Villegas, La Scala’s acclaimed pianist Nelson Calzi, and Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Mary Berkeley Portman, known for the film Chocolat.
Joining the lineup are German violin sensation Niklas Liepe and internationally acclaimed cellist Raphaela Gromes, both praised for their powerful stage presence and fresh interpretations of classical works. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime celebration of music’s finest artists in a breathtaking setting.
