TechIsland to hold its first TechPro community meetup in April

TechIsland announced their first community panel, exploring AI practices, to take place on 28 of April, titled “AI in Practice: Agents, Code, and What Actually Works”.

In their announcement, they invited the public to learn how AI is currently being applied in real-world systems. “From autonomous agents to developer workflows, speakers will share what’s delivering value in production-and what still falls short,” the announcement stated.

 The discussion will cover architecture choices, integration challenges, security considerations, and the trade-offs between custom builds and existing platforms. Those interested, according to the announcement, can expect practical insights, honest lessons learned, and a clever view of where AI is truly effective.

The event will bring together a distinguished lineup of industry experts, including Yury Derbasov, Chief Technology Officer at The Vault, Mariia Erokhina, General Manager – Information Security and Compliance at Pepperstone, Dr. Constantine Dovrolis, Director of the Center for Computational Science and Technology (CaSToRC) and Professor at The Cyprus Institute, Georgii Fedorov, Technical Director at Nexters, and Vladimir Karlov, Managing Partner at IT integra and Technology & AI Advisor.

The panel will take place on 28 April in Limassol, between 7pm and 9pm, and will be moderated by Ivan Sysoev, Head of AI at Ecommpay. Interest parties may register for the panel on from TechIsland’s website.
