Petrolina supported this year's nationwide 'Adopt a Family for Easter' campaign, organised by the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC).
True to its values and commitment to society, the company, with the active involvment of the Petrolina Community, helped support vulnerable families during the Easter period.
As part of the initiative, the Executive Director of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited, Georgia Lefkariti, presented fuel cards on behalf of the company to the President of the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council, Elias Demetriou, at the company’s headquarters. The contribution also included essential goods collected by Petrolina’s employees, showing their active support for the campaign.
Mr Demetriou, President of the PVCC, expressed his sincere gratitude to Petrolina for its generous contribution, noting that it plays an important role in supporting vulnerable families through the "Adopt a Family for Easter" campaign. He added that the company’s donation, together with the contribution of its employees, reflects genuine care and solidarity, while sending a strong message of hope and support.
On behalf of Petrolina, Mrs Lefkariti said that supporting the campaign is part of the company’s ongoing contribution to society, through initiatives that support those in need. She also highlighted the importance of employee participation, as well as the role of the Petrolina Kids Community, where employees’ children take part in the initiative, promoting the values of volunteering, giving and solidarity.
Petrolina continues to stand by society, supporting social solidarity through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
