The Next Edge Lies in Data

In investment management, access to information is only the beginning. Its value lies in interpretation: which data matters, which changes deserve attention and how analysis can support better-informed decisions.

Artificial intelligence introduces new capabilities into this process. For fund managers, the central question is how to integrate them into investment strategy, risk monitoring and everyday operations.

Dr Jeremy Sosabowski, Co-founder and CEO of AlgoDynamix (UK) Ltd., will bring his perspective to the 12th International Funds Summit, taking place on 16 November 2026 at Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol. His participation forms part of the discussion on artificial intelligence, technology and innovation in alternative investments.

AlgoDynamix develops AI-based financial price forecasting analytics. Its products are used by asset managers, including commodity trading advisers (CTAs), hedge funds and family offices.

Sosabowski’s experience connects scientific research with technology commercialisation. He has more than a decade of business and technology commercialisation experience. His previous roles include co-founder of a medical device company, Chief Technology Officer at an instrumentation company whose technology was acquired, and data analyst in the online transaction sector.

He holds an undergraduate degree and two postgraduate degrees in engineering, including an Engineering PhD from the University of Cambridge, specialising in laser physics and quantum mechanics. This background provides a practical foundation for discussing how complex analytical methods can become tools for professional use.

At the Summit, the session will examine technology across the investment lifecycle: from identifying opportunities and assessing risk to monitoring portfolios and reporting to investors.

For managers, the challenge is to connect technological capability with measurable business value. Analytical tools need to operate within clear processes, supported by appropriate data, evaluation of their outputs and accountable investment judgement.

The discussion will also address operational automation, investor experience and distribution models. Digital infrastructure, digital assets and the next generation of investment platforms complete an agenda concerned with both efficiency and the industry’s competitiveness.

For fund managers, investment analysts, risk professionals, fund administrators and financial technology executives, Sosabowski’s participation offers an opportunity to examine practical AI applications through the experience of developing specialist analytical products.

The 12th International Funds Summit brings the investment and technology communities together around a consequential decision: where organisations should invest in technology and how they should assess the results. Their answers will influence how they analyse markets, serve investors and organise their next phase of growth.
