Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis has issued a special video message on the occasion of 'Day of the Seafarer.'

The video has been posted on the official social media accounts of the Deputy Ministry, as well as on the official YouTube account of the Deputy Ministry of Shipping, a Deputy Ministry announcement noted.

The video has also been sent to all our seafarers, through the shipping companies that manage ships under the Cypriot flag.

It is worth noting that since 2011, at the initiative of the International Maritime Organization ( IMO ), Seafarer's Day was established, with the aim of honoring the valuable contribution of seafarers. worldwide in international maritime trade, the global economy and society as a whole. This year's IMO campaign is entitled: 'My Harassment - Free Ship' and is a bold initiative to cultivate a culture of respect and zero tolerance against intimidation and harassment at sea.
