President Christodoulides visiting Lithuania and Estonia for meetings with counterparts

President Nikos Christodoulides is in Vilnius, Lithuania, where he will have a tête-à-tête meeting with President Gitanas Nausėda at the Presidential Palace.

Later on 20 June, he will visit Estonia for meetings with Prime Minister, Kristen Michal, and President, Alar Karis. President Christodoulides is visiting the Baltic states as Cyprus is preparing to undertake the rotating EU Presidency in January 2026.

After the meeting in Vilnius, the two Presidents will make statements to the press, followed by a working lunch. 

On the afternoon of Friday, 20 June, President Christodoulides will travel to Tallinn, Estonia. 

His meeting with Prime Minister Kristen Michal will be followed by expanded talks and statements to the press.  

He will then have a meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis at his office in the presence of the delegations of both countries. 

President Christodoulides, who is being accompanied by Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna, Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou and other officials, will return to Cyprus on the evening of 20 June.
