A spotlight on the new President and Vice President of ICPAC

Odysseas Christodoulou and Andreas Andreou have been elected President and Vice President respectively of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
Odysseas Christodoulou
Odysseas Christodoulou, pictured above left, has been elected President of ICPAC after a long and meaningful participation in the Board of Directors of the Institute where he served consistently as Vice President and member. He has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accounting, finance and professional education.
He is the CEO of edBOS, the educational arm of the eBOS technology platform, with a particular emphasis on innovation, retraining and strengthening of human resources skills.
Christodoulou is a Fellow of ACCA (FCCA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB), as well as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants. He holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance.
He has been a member of the ACCA International Assembly representing Cyprus, co-founder and CEO of Globaltraining, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of EDEX, as well as a member of the Council of the University of Nicosia. In his early professional steps, he worked as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand and subsequently in the banking sector, with positions at Lombard NatWest Bank and Cyprus Popular Bank.
In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of KEO Plc and has served as a non-executive member on the Boards of Directors of Ancoria Bank and Laiki Financial Services.
Andreas Andreou
Andreas Andreou, pictured above right, is a Partner and member of the Executive Committee of Deloitte Ltd. He has joined Deloitte since 1997 and has extensive experience in providing audit services to a variety of public and private organizations, with specialization in the insurance and broader financial sectors.
He is the head of Deloitte Cyprus's technical team for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a distinguished speaker at technical accounting seminars.
Andreou has been a member of the Board of Directors of ICPAC since July 2015. He was also a member of the ICPAC Accounting Standards Committee during the period 2010–2014 and Vice-Chairman of the same committee during 2014–2015.
He holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Cyprus and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) since 2001. He is married and the father of three children.
