CCCI present at 113th Session of International Labour Conference

The Secretary General of the CCCI, Philokypros Roussounides, and Labour Relations Officer Andreas Alexi, are currently representing the Chamber at the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILO), taking place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The Chamber posted on its social media: “Through their interventions, they are presenting the positions of the CCCI in a well-documented manner, as the institutional representative of Cyprus’ employers and, by extension, the Cypriot business community, highlighting the critical labour and social issues that concern them within the framework of the international tripartite dialogue.”

Minister of Labour and Social Insurance in Cyprus Yiannis Panayiotou has also addressed the conference.

At the 2025 session of the Conference, Government, employer and worker delegates from the ILO's 187 Member States will address important world of work matters such as possible new international standards on the protection of workers against biological hazards in the working environment, decent work in the platform economy and innovative approaches to promoting transitions from the informal to the formal economy.
