Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean investment community convene in Limassol (pics)

The heart of the investment community of the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean is beating in Limassol today, Tuesday, June 10, with the Investopia Global Mediterranean Forum taking place at the Parklane Resort highlighting Cyprus' role as a business hub between three continents and unlocking new prospects for economic cooperation and business/investment opportunities.

The Forum brings top government officials, businessmen and investors from the wider region to Cyprus, including the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri , who will speak with the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, George Papanastasiou, in the context of a roundtable discussion on the topic 'Bridging Prosperity: Unlocking UAE-Eastern Mediterranean Syndergies'.

The Investopia Global Mediterranean Forum, organised by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and Invest Cyprus, will focus on four main axes.

These are digital technologies and artificial intelligence, financial innovation and capital markets, green energy transition and investment opportunities in the wider Mediterranean region.

Particular mention will also be made of the tourism sector, through a high-level discussion, which will highlight its role as a lever for economic development and human interconnection between regions.

The Forum is part of the activities of the Investopia initiative, one of the most important international platforms for connecting governments, investors and business leaders, which was established in 2021 with the inspiration and pioneers of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates and President of Investopia.
