Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Societe Generale appointed as joint bookrunners for the issuance of a euro-denominated 10-year bond

The Republic of Cyprus has appointed Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Société Générale as the Joint Lead Managers for the issuance of a euro-denominated benchmark 10-year bond (Reg S) maturing in January 2036. 

The transaction is expected to be issued in registered form under the Republic’s EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) Programme and is anticipated to commence in the near future, subject to market conditions. 

It is also worth noting that the Republic of Cyprus is rated A3 with stable outlook by Moody’s; A- with positive outlook by S&P; A- with positive outlook by Fitch; and A with stable outlook by DBRS.
