Industrial Turnover Index up 4.3% y-o-y in February

The Industrial Turnover Index rose by 4.3% in February 2025 compared to February 2024, reaching 130.4 units (base 2021=100).

According to an announcement by the Statistical Service, for the period January-February 2025, the index recorded an increase of 5.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

As stated, in the manufacturing sector, in February 2025, the index reached 132.6 units, recording an increase of 4.5% compared to February 2024.

It is added that increases were also observed in the mining and quarrying sectors by 11.9% and in electricity supply by 4.3%, while, on the contrary, a decrease was noted in the water supply and materials recovery sector by 4.0%.
