Larnaca 2030 issues open call to the city's business community

The Larnaca 2030 Organisation in cooperation with the Larnaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry has extended an open invitation to the business community of the city and Larnaka countryside.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 4 June 2025 at 5.30pm at Larnaka Municipality's Multi-functional Centre for Social Activities and Welfare.

"Learn from the team running our city's bid for the European Capital of Culture 2030 how you can contribute to this unique effort to redefine Larnaka through culture. The business community's support for the grand goal of leading Larnaka into the future in terms of inclusion, smart and balanced development, equity and care is more important than ever. The combination of cultural development and economic activity is a key component of our candidacy," a relevant press release notes.

Larnaka has already been selected for the second and final phase of evaluation by the European panel of experts, together with Limassol. A final decision will be taken next December.

"The next few months are crucial. We need your support and help," the Organisation said in its press release, "The co-creation of tomorrow is our Common Ground."
