Phanos Theophanous: “We gather to commit to Cyprus’ legacy"

Phanos Theophanous, the president of Cypriots in the City, spoke to the crowd about the importance of all Cypriots keeping the country in their minds and looking to take the important step to invest back home, during the Minds in Cyprus event taking place in London on Wednesday.

The event hosted, by the government, Invest Cyprus, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the importance of creating a brain gain in Cyprus, as the economy continues to grow stronger.

During his speech, Theophanous said “We gather to commit to Cyprus’ legacy.” He commented on the importance of Cypriots abroad turning their gaze towards “home” and creating an even stronger economy for the country.

Closing, Theophanous welcomed the initiative launched by President Nikos Christodoulides to bring talents back to the country and to continue to grow the country’s economy.
