ETYFA announces project management for Vasilikos terminal

Cyprus' Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) has announced the signing of a contract with T.EN PMS Services Ltd (Technip Energies) for the provision of Project Management Services towards the completion of the Natural Gas Import Terminal in Vasilikos.

Following a bidding process (ETYFA Competition 06/2024), the signing of the contract took place on 16 May, ETYFA said.

In its announcement, ETYFA also states that the Liquefied Natural Gas Import Infrastructure Project is a Project of Common Interest called 'CyprusGas2EU', with the aim of importing Natural Gas to Cyprus and reducing the country's dependence on imported oil and transitioning to a cleaner form of energy.
