Cyprus' GDP increased by 1.3% during first quarter of 2025, 0.3% in Europe, according to Eurostat

The seasonally adjusted GDP of Cyprus increased by 1.3% in the first quarter of 2025 compared with the previous quarter, according to a flash estimate published by Eurostat, which also shows an increase of 0.3% in GDP both in the eurozone and the EU.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the GDP in Cyprus had increased by 0.2% in the eurozone and by 0.4% in the EU.

Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 3.0% in Cyprus, by 1.2% in the eurozone and by 1.4% in the EU in the first quarter of 2025, after having also increased by 2.9% in Cyprus, by 1.2% in the eurozone and +1.4% in the EU in the previous quarter.
