The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) is seeing significant gains on Tuesday, riding the upward trend in international markets.
At 12:47, the CSE General Index was up 1.76% at 265.97 points.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index stood at 158.61 points, gaining 1.27%. Daily trading volume hit €288,128.
Among the sector indices, only investments fell 0.71%. The Main Market rose 1.88%, the Alternative Market 0.88%, and Hotels was unchanged.
Top trading volumes went to Bank of Cyprus (€149,386; +2.98%), Vasiliko Cement (€44,660; unchanged), Logicom (€44,081; +2.31%), Atlantic Insurance (€33,304; +8.85%), and Demetra Investments (€13,314; -0.73%).
Of stocks traded, six rose, three fell, and one was unchanged. Transactions totaled 85.
