PlugandPlayTC to visit Cyprus to explore opening office and investing here, Christodoulides says

One of the world's largest innovation platforms and startup accelerators, PlugandPlayTC, is set to explore the prospect of opening an office and investing in Cyprus, President Nikos Christodoulides has revealed.

In a post on social media, Christodoulides, who is visiting the US to encourage interest in Cyprus as an innovation hub and investment location, said, "Meeting with Saeed Amidi, Founder and CEO of PlugandPlayTC, one of the world's largest innovation platforms and startup accelerator. During the meeting, the company's CEO announced their intention to visit Cyprus to explore the prospect of opening an office and investing in Cyprus."

Amidi also talked about the visit in his own post on X, saying, "It was an honour to host President @Christodulides at our PlugandPlayTC HQ today. We had a great discussion about how we can collaborate to strengthen Cyprus' startup ecosystem by connecting them with our global network. Thank you for coming to visit us!"
