President holds meeting with Dean of Columbia Business School in US

President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides has met with the Dean of Columbia Business School, Costis Maglaras.   

According to a post on 'X' of Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, the meeting was an opportunity for a substantive exchange of views regarding the strengthening of cooperation between the Republic of Cyprus and leading world-class academic institutions as well as the countervailing advantages of for investment, in the areas of innovation and services.

The deepening of the relationship with a university like Columbia Business School, internationally recognised for its academic excellence, reinforces the Government's strategy to make Cyprus a hub for education, and development of the innovation and research system in the region, taking advantage of its geostrategic position, the high level of human resources of the country, he concludes.
