Retail trade shows annual increase in value and volume in January

An annual increase in value and volume was recorded on January as regards retail trade.

According to CySTAT, that issued a press release on the Turnover Index of Retail Trade Except of Motor Vehicles, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for January 2025 increased by 4.8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. 

For the same month, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade increased by 2.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
