Annual inflation in Cyprus expected have dropped to 2.3% by February 2025

Annual inflation in Cyprus is expected to stand at 2.3% in February 2025, dropping from 2.9% in January, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat on inflation trends in the eurozone.

In December, annual inflation in Cyprus stood at 3.1%. A year ago, in February 2024, annual inflation was recorded at 2.1%.

Eurozone annual inflation is expected to be 2.4% in February 2025, down from 2.5% in January. 

Looking at the main components of eurozone inflation, services is expected to have the highest annual rate in February (3.7%, compared with 3.9% in January), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (2.7%, compared with 2.3% in January), non-energy industrial goods (0.6%, compared with 0.5% in January) and energy (0.2%, compared with 1.9% in January).
