The recipients of the OEB Cyprus Innovation Awards 2024 (pics)

The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) has held the Cyprus Innovation Awards ceremony, honoring organisations that have demonstrated exceptional innovation within the Cypriot business community.

This year's event recognised innovative ideas and practices that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of Cypriot businesses. The awardees come from various sectors of the economy, proving that innovation is a driving force in every industry.

The awardees are:

  • Primary Sector Award: Charalambides Christis, the largest and longest-standing dairy company in Cyprus, was recognised for implementing the Animal Welfare certification program across its farms.

  • Manufacturing Sector Award: Advanced Automation Systems Ltd received the award for developing intelligent drip irrigation pipe production methods utilising Artificial Intelligence.

  • Services Sector Award: KEDIFAP, a leading distributor of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products, was honored for creating an automated center for receiving, storing, sorting, and distributing products using robotic systems.

  • Social Innovation Award: The Cyprus Institute, and more specifically the Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratories (APAC Labs), was recognised for developing processes to analyse and document artworks using innovative technologies aimed at studying, protecting, and promoting cultural heritage.

Through these awards, OEB continues to foster creativity and progress within businesses by acknowledging outstanding innovative practices implemented in Cyprus.
