The Digital Assistant's covered topics on gov.cy have been expanded

The capabilities of the Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant on the gov.cy portal are expanding, further facilitating citizens' interaction with the public sector.

According to an announcement from Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, the Digital Assistant can now also answer questions and inquiries from citizens regarding a range of allowances provided by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.

More specifically, the following additional topics have been included in the Digital Assistant:

  • Allowance for Mothers with Many Children
  • Tuition Fee Subsidy for Children
  • Childbirth Grant for Unmarried Mothers
  • Single-Parent Family Allowance
  • Grant for WWII Veteran Fighters
  • Grant for Widows/Widowers of WWII Veteran Fighters
  • Allowance for Low-Income Pensioners
  • Care Provision for Prisoners of War and War Victims of 1974
  • Child Allowance
  • Minimum Guaranteed Income
  • Subsidised Accommodation and Care Scheme for Elderly Homes

The full list of topics covered by the Digital Assistant, including those related to the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, the Social Insurance Services, electronic identity, and vehicle recalls, can be found at the following link: gov.cy Digital Assistant.

Gradually, more topics will be added to the Digital Assistant, enhancing the importance and usefulness of this tool for citizens, the Deputy Ministry's announcement said.
