EY Cyprus is pleased to announce that it is strengthening its Consulting Services with the addition of Antonis Rouvas, who joins the firm as a partner, bringing a wealth of experience in the banking, insurance and funds sectors and in the areas of financial risk management and regulatory matters.

Antonis Rouvas
Antonis Rouvas is an experienced finance executive with a proven track record and deep knowledge of the financial services industry from his international experience both as a banker as well as an advisor. He began his career after completing his studies at Wake Forest University (USA), joining PwC London, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Antonis then spent nine years with Credit Suisse, holding roles in Singapore, Cyprus, and London, where he developed deep expertise in banking, capital markets, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
Upon returning to Cyprus, he joined KPMG, where he served as the Partner responsible for the Financial Risk Management Division. For the past several years, Antonis served as the Chief Financial Officer and a Board Member of Hellenic Bank, one of Cyprus’s systemic banks.
During his tenure, he also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, formally approved by the European Central Bank, leading the Group through a period of significant transformation. He has also served as Executive Chairman of both Pancyprian Insurance Ltd and Hellenic Life Insurance Co. Ltd, expanding his experience across the insurance sector and the broader regulated financial ecosystem.
His experience across banking, insurance, financial risk management, regulatory matters, and the funds industry provides him with a well‑rounded perspective on the financial services landscape.
