Announcement by CTC AUTOMOTIVE on VOLVO Airbag related Recall

With reference to media publications regarding the airbag related recall of Volvo cars, CTC AUTOMOTIVE clarifies that this recall is not new and does not concern TAKATA airbags.

It is part of a previously conducted process, which had been widely communicated and affected Volvo S60, S80, V70 and XC70 models (model year 2001-2009).

CTC AUTOMOTIVE, with a strong sense of responsibility towards its customers, and following the relevant directive from the manufacturer Volvo Cars, had already notified the affected vehicle owners as part of the standard recall procedure. Owners who responded have already been serviced.

Owners of the aforementioned models are advised to visit the official website of the Road Transport Department, where the list of affected vehicles is available.
