CL8 hosts renowned scientist and former Minister of Health, Dr. Philippos Patsalis

CL8 recently hosted Dr. Philippos Patsalis, a distinguished scientist, business leader, and former Minister of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, at their data center in Limassol.

Dr. Patsalis was guided through the facilities by the Founder, Chairman and CEO of CL8, Peter G. Economides, and Director/Chief Technology Officer, Michalis Stavrinou.

During the tour, Economides highlighted the technological innovations driving the operations and the critical role of data management and security in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.

Economides remarked, “In the realm of healthcare science, data safety and security are of paramount importance. At CL8, we are ready and fully capable to support this vital sector, ensuring that data integrity and confidentiality are safeguarded, every step of the way.”

The visit was followed by an insightful discussion on the intersections of science, technology, and especially healthcare innovations. Dr. Patsalis shared his extensive experience in leadership roles, from his tenure as Minister of Health to his current contributions to the field of human genetics and research.
