Tatham assured the economic cooperation between Cyprus and the UK would continue, and said his country is ready to deepen relations, specifically mentioning the continuation of the technical assistance provided by the UK to the Ministry of Finance for the establishment and operation of the National Sanctions Implementation Unit, in line with best practices.

For his part, Keravnos highlighted the importance of the two countries’ ties and good relations. He also mentioned the very good performance of the Cypriot economy and stressed that, in the current international context, close cooperation and the exchange of views between the two nations are necessary and valuable.
