Bank of Cyprus partners with FIBA EuroBasket 2025 as Main Event Sponsor

The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Organizing Committee and Bank of Cyprus are joining forces and will move forward together on the road to the European Basketball Championship, the biggest sporting event ever hosted in Cyprus.

As noted in a Committee announcement, FIBA EuroBasket 2025 is co-hosted by Cyprus, Latvia, Finland, and Poland, with the basketball action on the island taking place between 28 August and 4 September, 2025, at the Spyros Kyprianou Arena in Limassol. Among the teams playing in Cyprus will be the National Team of Greece, featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo, as the Hellenic Basketball Federation has been selected as the partner federation by the organisers.

The collaboration between the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Organizing Committee and Bank of Cyprus places the latter in the top tier of the event sponsors, as Main Event Sponsor, a tier that includes only four partners, each with exclusivity in their respective field.

Regarding the launch of this sponsorship partnership, the president of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Organizing Committee in Cyprus, Mark Klerides, stated, “Bank of Cyprus is the largest financial institution in our country and one of the key pillars of the country’s economy and society.
