Larnaca airport passenger traffic up 12.7% in January, 7.24% drop in Paphos

Passenger traffic at the airports in Larnaca and Paphos recorded a 6.81% increase in January 2025 compared to the same month in 2024.

This was according to a press release by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works, which attributed the rise to a 12.7% increase recorded in Larnaca and despite a 7.24% drop in Paphos.

Specifically, the Ministry reported that the airports in Larnaca and Paphos welcomed 551,439 passengers during January 2025.

In Larnaca, following the upward trend of 2024, passenger volume increased by 12.7% compared to the same period last year. In contrast, Paphos saw a 7.24% drop compared to January 2024.

With the UK, Greece, Israel, Poland, and Germany as the main markets, aircraft traffic increased by 10.32% compared to the corresponding period last year, reaching a total of 5,346 flights.
