Acclaimed chef Florian Berger coming to Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort

Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort will be hosting well-known German chef Florian Berger on 28 and 29 September for its Sky Stars Culinary event.

Florian began his culinary journey in Austria with a classical apprenticeship before joining Hangar 7 in Salzburg, where he perfected his skills under the guidance of Roland Trettl and Eckart Witzigmann.

With a desire to learn from the best, he moved to Munich to work at the famous Tantris under Hans Haas. In 2016, at the age of just 26, he realised his dream of opening his own restaurant in Munich.

In February 2018, his restaurant, 'Gabelspiel', received its first Michelin star, a distinction it has proudly held ever since.

Florian is known for his focus on local and seasonal ingredients, always presented in a sophisticated and unexpected way. His motto, "Familiar reinterpreted - simply nothing is impossible - creativity and quality in the first place" perfectly captures his approach to cooking, the Paphos district Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort's announcement said, adding "Don't miss the chance to enjoy the creations of one of the best chefs in the world," Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort's announcement said.

Those wishing to enjoy the culinary evening can make their reservation by calling 26000000 or emailing reservations@capstgeorges.com
