UDS Architects continues collaboration with Foster + Partners on first phase of Land of Tomorrow Project

A high-profile event was recently held in Larnaca to announce the joint venture between Lefkaritis Group and bbf:, marking the commencement of the first phase of the Land of Tomorrow masterplan, Larnaca’s most groundbreaking development in recent years. The event was graced by President Nikos Christodoulides, Larnaca Mayor Andreas Vyras, and other ministers and dignitaries.

UDS Architects is working alongside Foster + Partners as the Local Architect and Architect of Record for the visionary Land of Tomorrow project in Larnaca. This collaboration will drive the development of a thriving and sustainable community along the seafront of Dhekelia, marking a significant milestone in the transformation of Larnaca’s coastline.

UDS Architects will work closely with Foster + Partners to bring this masterplan to life, with construction of the first phase set to begin in the last quarter of 2025. This phase will feature a series of residential developments, offering over 32,000 square meters of premium beachfront living space.

Designed to foster a strong sense of community and connectivity, this stage of the project will include shops, offices, and restaurants, linked to the city centre via a new pedestrian trail along the beachfront. It aims to double the accessible waterfront length, introduce approximately 20,000 new trees, and revitalise the local ecosystem with a new coastal pine forest.

As the Local Architect and the Architect of Record, UDS Architects will ensure that every aspect of the design and construction process adheres to the local technical and legal framework, setting a new benchmark for developments in Cyprus and the Mediterranean.
