Weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus up 3.7% in Q1 yoy

During the period January-March 2024, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 3.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2023, according to data published by CySTAT.

During this period, 10.86 million tonnes were transported, compared to 10.48 million tonnes transported in the first quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile, the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus decreased by 0.9%.
