Philippines Secretary of Foreign Affairs to pay official visit to Cyprus

The Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Philippines, Enrique Manalo, will pay an official visit to Cyprus on 21 June at the invitation of his Cypriot counterpart Constantinos Kombos with whom he will have talks and be received by President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides.

An official press release said that Manalo will be welcomed by Kombos at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he will sign the Guest Book. The two Ministers will then hold a tête-à-tête meeting, followed by bilateral consultations in an extended format, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kombos and Manalo will make statements to the press at the end of the discussions.

The discussions will focus, inter alia, on bilateral relations between Cyprus and the Philippines, the Cyprus problem, as well as a number of other issues related to regional and international developments in the Middle East, Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific.

During his stay in Cyprus, Manalo will also be received by the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides.
