Cyprus participates in 'London Tech Week'

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Cyprus Trade Centre in London, participated with an information booth at the 'London Tech Week' exhibition.

The exhibition took place from 10 to 12 June 2024 at the Olympia exhibition centre.

An official press release said that 'London Tech Week' is considered one of the most important annual technology and innovation exhibitions in the UK and on its sidelines a number of informative events and presentations took place, inside and outside the event.

This year, the exhibition attracted 250 entries, including state pavilions from countries such as Dubai, Qatar, South Africa, Malta, Japan, Latvia and Hungary, as well as 30,000 visitors representing innovative and start-ups, investment funds, research institutions, educational institutions and consulting firms.

The Cyprus pavilion was visited by a significant number of stakeholders, who had the opportunity to be informed about the advantages that Cyprus offers as a destination for technology and innovation companies, as well as the developments in the ecosystem that highlights the prospects of Cyprus as an emerging technology hub in information and communication, the press release concludes.
