Minister of Energy in Milan for Investopia Europe

The Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry George Papanastasiou is in Milan where he will represent the President of the Republic at the 2nd international investment conference Investopia Europe taking place on 10 May.

Minister Papanastasiou will participate in the first round table discussion of the conference, on the topic of Fostering Economic Growth through International Cooperation and Partnership, a Ministry press release said.

Participants in the discussion include Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Silvio Schembri, Minister for Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects of Malta, Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

On the sidelines of Investopia Europe, the Cypriot Minister is scheduled to have private meetings with his counterparts from the UAE and Italy.
