Petrolina sponsors 'Petrolina 10km Energy Race' at the OPAP Limassol Marathon

True to its long-term commitment to supporting major sporting events in Cyprus, Petrolina sponsors the OPAP Limassol Marathon for yet another year, which took place on 13 and 14 April.

Petrolina, which has long become synonymous with the Limassol Marathon, is the sponsor of the ‘Petrolina 10Km Energy Race,', which took place on Sunday, 14 April.

The Petrolina 10 Km Energy Race is one of the most popular routes of the OPAP Limassol Marathon, attracting young runners who are eager to push their limits and test their endurance.

On 13 April, as part of its sponsorship, Petrolina hosted for the second consecutive year, the ‘Petrolina Energy Concert’ at the Sponsor Village, featuring the band Mr. Wilson, delivering a day filled with rhythm and music.

Additionally, on the same day, the Petrolina Energy Team, comprised of volunteers from Petrolina employees and their families, also participated in the 5km corporate race.

An announcement from the company noted, "Inspired by the ideals and values of sports and volunteerism, Petrolina has always supported major events over time that not only take center stage in Cyprus' cultural and sporting scene, but also promote Cyprus internationally. Furthermore, sports is one of the main pillars of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, as it promotes values such as integrity, teamwork and discipline."

The OPAP Limassol Marathon is considered to be one of the most important sporting events on the island and annually attracts thousands of runners from Cyprus and abroad. It features a rich racing program consisting of six different routes of various distances and performance levels.
