UN special envoy in Greece

The Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Cyprus, María Angela Holguín Cuéllar, will meet with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis in Athens on Tuesday.

The meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister is scheduled for 10 a.m. At 12 p.m., Holguín will be received by the Greek Prime Minister at the Maximos Mansion.

According to diplomatic sources, the Greek government is expected to reiterate Greece's firm position on the need for the resumption of dialogue and for a solution to the Cyprus problem on the basis of the UN Security Council resolutions, within the framework of a bizonal bicommunal federation.
