Freight transport in Cyprus up by 0.5% in Q3 2023

Freight transport for the third quarter of 2023 increased, according to data released by CySTAT.

During the period July-September 2023, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 0.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2022, while the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus also increased by 18.9%.

During the period January-September 2023, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 3.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2022, while the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus also increased by 18.4%.
