How the iconic Palm Beach Resort will look following its upcoming revival (pics)

A historic Larnaca hotel is being transformed into a high-end resort.

The collaboration between Premium Access Cyprus and Thanos Hospitality Services, which will take over the management of Palm Beach Resort, aims to create an ambitious project that will put Larnaca back on the tourist map.

Joining forces with Thanos Hospitality Services is considered to be proof of Premium Access Cyprus' commitment to providing high-quality services in the hospitality sector.

The renaissance of Larnaca

With eight more hotel units under management in Cyprus and Greece, Thanos Hospitality Services is participating in a unique project.

The statement by Thanos Hotels & Resorts CEO, Thanos Michaelides, was clear, explaining that Thanos Hospitality Services invests in quality, not volume, emphasising that tourism needs substance and not spectacular moves without base.

The high-end €110 million mixed development is expected to contribute to the upgrading of Larnaca and its tourism product.

In addition to the revival and development of Palm Beach Resort, Premium Access Cyprus, according to its CEO, Shaul Keinan, sees development prospects both on the Voroklini beachfront and on the island in general.

Emphasis on detail and quality

This will be a mixed development, which includes, in addition to the five-star hotel, different sports fields, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art gym, a playground, luxurious ground-floor private residences, a tower with apartments for self-ownership, high-end gastronomy areas, entertainment areas, a wellness centre for moments of relaxation, as well as a picturesque beachfront with a multitude of activities and water sports.

The design of the new Palm Beach Resort is being overseen by the project's architects Eraclis Papachristou and Christodoulos Christodoulou.

Everything has been designed with an emphasis on detail, in terms of sustainability, aiming to create a destination within a destination, located in one of the most idyllic spots in Cyprus.

Seabreeze Residences will comprise a ground floor reception and concierge services, as well as nine floors of residential units. In total, the building will feature 56 units, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

The luxurious five-star Palm Beach Hotel will feature a total of 160 rooms on floors 1-4, as well as dining areas, a bar and an event venue.

Room types are standard doubles, accessible, junior suites and superior suites, while hotel facilities include a roof bar, a yoga area, as well as a kids club on the ground floor, an all-day restaurant and a pool bar.

As for the Waterfront Residences, residents will enjoy concierge services on the ground floor, lobby, lounge areas and conference rooms.

The residential part from the first to the fourth floor consists of a total of 20 studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, while on the top floor there will be a swimming pool and a roof bar.
