Dimitris Primpas named new General Manager of IBM Greece and Cyprus

IBM has announced that Dimitris Primpas, Director of IBM Consulting, has assumed the position of General Manager of IBM Greece and Cyprus.

Primpas (pictured above) succeeds Nikos Maniatis, who has decided to follow a new professional path outside of IBM. Dimitris Primpas, alongside his new duties, will continue to lead the IBM Consulting sector for Greece and Cyprus.

In addition, Angelos Vlachopoulos takes over as Director of the Technology Sector of IBM Greece and Cyprus.

Primpas has been the Director of IBM Consulting Greece and Cyprus since 2018, while in the past he was the Sales Director of Technology Services for Greece and Cyprus. He joined the company's workforce in 2008, initially as a Project Manager in the Technology Services department.

Angelos Vlachopoulos joined IBM Greece in 2015, taking on important roles in the areas of Software Sales and Infrastructure. From February 2023, he holds the position of Director of Sales for the IBM Software division. Prior to this position, he served as Client Manager in Enterprise Sales, having previously held the role of Senior Sales Specialist.
