CBC calls for tenders for SWIFT system management, maintenance and support

The Central Bank of Cyprus has announced a call for tenders for the provision of management, maintenance and support services for the "SWIFT" system and its related infrastructure.

Due to the nature of the project under contract, the Competition will be conducted through a closed procedure in two stages as follows:

  1. First stage/Pre-selection stage: Invitation to Economic Operators to express their interest in participating in the Tender by submitting Form 1 ("Application for Participation") as well as the remaining necessary documents, as provided for in the Tender documents. Selection of those Interested Economic Operators that meet the prerequisite criteria for participation in the Second stage of the Tender.
  2. Second stage/Contract award stage: Invitation to Interested Economic Operators pre-selected from the First stage to submit a bid and award of the contract to the successful bidder.

The award criterion was defined as the most economically advantageous offer, based on the lowest price.

The "Application for Participation" and other documents related to the Competition are available on the Bank's website, by clicking here , from 6 December 2024 to 24 January 2025. The Competition Notice can also be retrieved from the Official Journal of the European Union.

Please note that the documents are available in English only. In case the documents are required to be received in Greek, a relevant request should be sent via email to epitropiagoron@centralbank.cy.

Interested Economic Operators are invited to send their contact details (name, address, telephone number, fax, address, e-mail) to epitropiagoron@centralbank.cy, indicating as the subject the reference "Tender 06/2024 - SWIFT system".

The Bank will not be liable in the event that an Interested Economic Operator does not provide contact information and/or has provided incorrect contact information, resulting in not receiving any additional information or clarifications regarding the Competition.

According to the terms of the Tender Documents, the "Application for Participation" must be addressed to the Bank and submitted, together with the other required documents, in a sealed envelope, to the tender box of the Procurement Committee, Office 018 in the Bank's building (80 John Kennedy Avenue, 1076, Nicosia), no later than 24 January 2025 at 1pm, local Cyprus time.
