Michalis Petrou receives CBN Young Dragon Award in Trading & Manufacturing

Michalis Petrou, Commercial Manager, Alambra - Petrou Bros Dairy Products, has been named the Young Dragon in the Trading & Manufacturing category at the first CBN Young Dragon Awards.

Petrou was awarded during a ceremony at Nicosia’s Municipal Theatre on 2 December.

Michalis Petrou is the Commercial Manager of the family-owned Petrou Bros Dairy Products, where, among others, he focuses on maintaining the company’s leading position as a producer of traditional Cypriot products such as halloumi cheese, which it exports to 40 countries. Thanks to his foresight and expertise, exports of halloumi have increased significantly, while he has also facilitated the development and introduction of new products, expanding the company's product catalogue to more than 300 items.

His contribution to the launch of Alambra Fresh Cypriot Milk, natural juices, milk alternatives and a wide range of cheeses has been decisive and he has played an important role in establishing and guiding the sales team, which has become an integral part of the company and is closely aligned with its culture and objectives.
