Lena Panayiotou promoted to Deputy Director General of OEB

The Board of Directors of the Employers & Industrialists' Federation (OEB) has unanimously approved a proposal by the Executive Committee to promote Lena Panayiotou to the position of Deputy General Director of the organisation, effective from 1 January, 2027.

Lena Panayiotou initially joined OEB’s Industrial Relations & Social Policy Department in 2004, of which she was also Director since 2017 and, since January 2024, has held the position of Assistant Director General.

Panayiotou graduated from the English School, Nicosia and holds a degree in Law and an MA in International Relations, both from the University of Leeds.

She has extensive training experience and participates in several international and national bodies including, amongst others, including the European Social Dialogue Committee, the European Economic & Social Committee, the Labour Advisory Body, the Social Insurance Council, the National Minimum Wage Adjustment Committee, the Board of the Cyprus Arbitration & Mediation Center (C.A.M.C.) and the Industrial Disputes Tribunal.

She has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the Cyprus Football Association, since July 2023.
