Sklavenitis Cyprus completes agreement with Papantoniou Supermarkets

The agreement regarding the integration of Papantoniou Supermarkets into the Sklavenitis Cyprus network has been successfully completed, following approval from the Commission for the Protection of Competition (C.P.C.), the companies have confirmed in an announcement.

Papantoniou Supermarkets is one of the most renowned supermarket chains in Cyprus, recognised for the quality of its products and service, the announcement said, noting, "With this integration, Sklavenitis Cyprus will now operate a total of 27 Stores, employing 2,350 people while preserving all 769 job positions of Papantoniou Supermarkets."

"The agreement with Papantoniou Supermarkets reflects the Company’s confidence in the potential of the Cypriot economy and reinforces its commitment to contribute to the growth of the domestic market, by offering Customers exceptional service and high-quality products at the best prices," the announcement continued.
