CCCI organises business mission and fora in Slovakia and the Czech Republic

With the aim of promoting relations between the business communities of Cyprus, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Cyprus Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (CCCI-KEBE) organised a Business Mission, fora and B2B meetings in Bratislava and Prague on 26 and 28 November 2024 respectively.

The events were organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, the Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna and the Cyprus-Slovakia and Cyprus-Czech Republic Business Associations,

In a CCCI's press release, it is noted that the Secretary General of the CCCI, Marios Tsiakkis, addressing the fora, pointed out the attractiveness of Cyprus as an investment destination, with particular reference to the provision of services, technology and the real estate market.

In addition, issues of mutual interest were discussed, as well as the strategic advantages of the two countries, followed by presentations of the participating Cypriot companies.

In their presentations, the participating Cypriot companies praised the advantages of Cyprus as an investment destination and underlined the opportunities offered through the legal and tax system for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Finally, they expressed the readiness of Cypriot businesses to further strengthen economic, trade and business relations between Cyprus, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
