CBC calls for caution over the circulation of counterfeit US$100 banknotes in the market

The Central Bank of Cyprus has called for caution over the circulation of counterfeit US$ 100 banknotes in the local market.

“The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that it has come to its attention that counterfeit US$100 banknotes are circulating in the market and urges the public/businesses to exercise extra caution in their transactions,” the banking supervisor said in press release.
