French President Emmanuel Macron in Paphos for MED9 meeting

The President of France Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Cyprus to take part in the MED9 meeting in Paphos.

He was welcomed to the location of the meeting by President Nikos Christodoulides.

Earlier, Christodoulides greeted King Abdullah of Jordan and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Portugal's Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Paulo Rangel, the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni, the Prime Minister of Slovenia Dr Robert Golob and the Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela.

The meeting’s delegates will discuss all the current issues that concern Mediterranean countries, as well as the situation in the Middle East.
