Actuarial Association of Europe welcomes Stephanos Hadjistyllis

Cypriot national Stephanos Hadjistyllis FIA CERA has joined the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) as Senior Actuary/Project Manager. Hadjistyllis began his new position on 1 January.

As noted in an AAE press release, Hadjistyllis has over 12 years of extensive experience as a consulting actuary. He has previously served as the head of the pensions actuarial team at Deloitte Cyprus and has held key consulting positions in both Cyprus and the UK.

"His expertise encompasses actuarial, risk, and investment consulting, making him a valuable addition to our team. Stephanos chaired the Board of the Cyprus Association of Actuaries from June 2018 to June 2020, demonstrating leadership and strategic vision. Stephanos' proven track record of successful project management, comprehensive understanding of actuarial principles, and commitment to professional development make him an excellent fit for our team," AAE said in the press release.

Also, speaking on behalf of the AAE Board, the Chairperson, Giampaolo Crenca, commented, “It is with pleasure that we can announce that we strengthened the team at the AAE to be able to face the challenges in a changing world and be prepared to seize the opportunities to further develop the actuarial profession from all perspectives. Stephanos will be a valuable resource in order to support the strategic plan which AAE is carrying out. We are delighted that Stephanos agreed to join AAE.
